Since its formation 42 years ago, Fanshawe Chorus London has become one of the largest performance organizations in Canada, and the largest in Western Ontario. The Chorus ably performs a grand variety of music from the classics to modern favourites.

Fanshawe Chorus London comprises of 110 singers as well as 50 players in its own dedicated orchestra who operate as the Concert Players Orchestra. This comprehensive musical organization ensures that the Chorus can render maximum authenticity for each of its spectacular concerts.

Such a fine ensemble can only maintain its ongoing high standards of performance through an extensive support group. It is backed by its own non-profit corporation and operates in partnership with the Continuing Education Program at Fanshawe College.

This unique musical structure has therefore achieved its world class status quietly, and continues to grow in quality each season. Performances with iconic musical artists have become standard. The late Victor Borge, Lois Marshall and Maureen Forrester as well as Janice Taylor, Roberta Peters and Ben Heppner have all appeared during the past seasons.

The Chorus has twice won the Lieutenant-Governor's Award for the Arts because of fiscal responsibility and innovative programming.

As this vibrant organization looks to the future, it continues in its leadership role of presenting the great Choral and Orchestral works to London and Southwestern Ontario at 'ticket prices affordable to all.'
