Gerald Fagan Singers

Since their inception in 1978, the Gerald Fagan Singers have established themselves as one of Canada's premiere chamber choirs.

As well as performing a full concert series annually in London, the Singers take their choral enthusiasm to various parts of Ontario and Canada. Their versatility is shown by the varied programming seen in the concert listings - they are equally at home with Palestrina as with Lerner and Lowe.

The Singers travel extensively internationally, and in July 2007 they travelled to the Czech Republic and southern Germany in their fourth tour in nine years.

Previous touring has taken them to England, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Monaco and Spain - always to enthusiastic and supportive audiences.

Taking music from Cabaret -one of the Singers' most popular annual concerts - this CD shows another side to the Fagan Singers and features a collection of songs arranged by Marlene Fagan. For over ten years at Christmas, the Gerald Fagan Singers have championed Ontario composers. The singers have produced a CD based on this legacy of concerts called "A Trillium Christmas,"and selected for it 13 of their favourite holiday works from the many that they have performed over the past decade.
